Social Media Manager Intern

We are looking for a Social Media Manager who has intermediate skills in social media management and knowledgeable about creating social media copy (captions). As an intern with us, you will assist in furthering ‘Sipp Talk’s mission of sharing and promoting Mississippi’s stories, traditions, and legacy through a creative lens. You will have the chance to deeply immerse yourself in the essence of Mississippi.

Social Media Management:

Managing and monitoring 'Sipp Talk's social media accounts on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Tik Tok.

Posting content regularly and scheduling posts for optimal times based on audience engagement metrics.

Engaging with followers by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner.

Monitoring social media conversations and trends related to the brand or industry and participating in relevant discussions.

Content Creation and Curation:

Assist in generating original, engaging content for various social media platforms including text, images, videos, and infographics.

Assist curating relevant content from third-party sources to supplement 'Sipp Talk's content strategy.

Ensuring all content adheres to brand guidelines and maintains a consistent tone and voice.

'Sipp Talk Media is a digital media platform that highlights Mississippi culture. It builds esteem in Mississippi's image by sharing its creative genius across various channels.
