The Mississippi Department of Information Technology (ITS) is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the role of a Multimedia Specialist III.

This position manages both web content and social media and collaborates with agency staff across all divisions of the agency and the Executive Management Team on the development and publication of content across digital and print platforms. This position also serves as a key resource for maintaining consistent, professional, and cohesive messaging, visual presentation, branding, and document standards across the Mississippi Department of Information Technology Services (ITS), supporting the effective promotion of ITS and its services.

• Awareness of emerging communication, design, and digital-content technologies.
• Skilled in developing layouts, graphics, and design elements aligned with organizational standards.
• Skilled in translating technical information into accessible public-facing content.
• Ability to maintain consistent formatting, terminology, and professional visual standards.
• Familiarity with ADA accessibility requirements for digital content and communications.

Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree and 4-6 years of experience. Hiring agency prefers:
Experience designing and producing professional publications and communication materials.
