Summary of Position
The Application Specialist provides outstanding customer service to both internal and external customers by processing online applications for public assistance programs.
Essential
Job Requirements
* Screens applicants to determine if active case exists or application is pending
* Uses multiple complex computer systems to research, validate, update, and maintain case information
* Provides information to applicants, including rights and responsibilities
* Maintains accurate files, records, and reports to document communication, compliance, and resolution of issue
* Regular and timely attendance
* Other duties as assigned
Required Education
High School Diploma or equivalent
Required Experience
* Data entry and typing experience. Must be able to type at least 20 WPM
