Summary of PositionThe Application Specialist provides outstanding customer service to both internal and external customers by processing online applications for public assistance programs.
EssentialJob Requirements
- Screens applicants to determine if active case exists or application is pending
- Uses multiple complex computer systems to research, validate, update, and maintain case information
- Provides information to applicants, including rights and responsibilities
- Maintains accurate files, records, and reports to document communication, compliance, and resolution of issue
- Regular and timely attendance
- Other duties as assigned
High School Diploma or equivalent
Required Experience- Data entry and typing experience. Must be able to type at least 20 WPM
