Oral Surgeon

The Staff Pad is partnering with a leading pediatric Ambulatory Surgery Center organization to recruit a part-time Oral Surgeon in Jackson, MS. The clinician will provide specialized restorative and exodontia dental procedures for pediatric and special needs patients under general anesthesia. This collaborative ASC environment offers a focused, fast-paced setting with no call, weekends, or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide oral surgical care in a fast-paced ASC environment
• Work alongside the surgical team to ensure a safe and positive patient experience
• Treat approximately seven pediatric patients during a typical OR day
• Coordinate care with Dentists, Anesthesiologists, Registered Nurses, Registered Dental Assistants, and other surgical team members

Shift & Schedule

• Part-Time (1-2 Days per week)
• No Call, Weekends or Holidays

Requirements

• Licensed Oral Surgeon with appropriate state licensure
• Experience working with pediatric patients
• Current BLS certification; AHA or equivalent
• PALS certification within 6 months of hire
• National Board certification strongly preferred
• Ability to practice across various anesthesia staffing models, including Anesthesia Care Team and independent practice models preferred
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Excellent communication and professionalism
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced surgical setting
