Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Preferred:

* Terminal degree (MD, PhD in Health Sciences, Medicine or Bio Medical Education and four years experience as director of Graduate level health science in education)

* Excellent leadership skills

* Budget Management

* Working knowledge of the educational requirements of undergraduate medical and resident training programs

* Maintains literacy and understanding of medical procedures

* Able to explore and adapt new simulation technologies

* Good writing skills

* Able to collaborate well with clinicians and basic scientists

* Experience in clinical education, including giving effective feedback to trainees in high intensity environments

* Experience with health sciences accreditation processes

* Experience working in, leading, and evaluating interprofessional healthcare delivery teams
