The Role
- Setting a bold vision for academic excellence, ensuring all scholars experience rigorous, standards-aligned instruction that leads to strong academic achievement and measurable growth.
- Serving as an instructional leader and content expert, coaching and developing teachers through weekly professional development, coaching cycles, and real-time feedback to improve instructional quality across classrooms.
- Observing classrooms regularly, providing clear, actionable feedback, and ensuring teachers are implementing high-quality, standards-aligned, and differentiated instruction.
- Analyzing student achievement data, identifying trends, and partnering with teachers to develop and implement targeted action plans that close achievement gaps and accelerate scholar growth.
- Leading data-driven instruction by supporting teachers in analyzing assessments, adjusting instruction, and implementing Response to Intervention (RTI) strategies effectively.
- Building strong, trusting relationships with teachers, scholars, and families to cultivate a joyful, structured, and inclusive school culture focused on achievement and belonging.
- Ensuring compliance with academic programs and policies, including supporting the implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), English Language Learner (ELL) supports, and state and federal academic requirements.
- Monitoring academic systems and instructional practices to ensure consistency, accountability, and high expectations across grade levels and classrooms.
- Collaborating with the Principal and school leadership team to plan professional development, strengthen instructional systems, and improve overall school performance.
- Meeting all professional expectations, including timely completion of observations, feedback cycles, data analysis, academic reporting, and instructional planning systems.
- Working as part of the school leadership team to ensure strong instructional systems, teacher development, and scholar achievement across the school.
- Performing additional duties as assigned in service of school and scholar success.

- Bringing previous charter school experience and a deep understanding of the urgency, rigor, and mission-driven work required to drive strong outcomes for scholars.
- Demonstrating 3–5 years of teaching experience with a proven record of strong student achievement results and measurable academic growth.
- Showing a proven track record of driving academic results and closing achievement gaps for historically underserved scholars.
- Coaching and developing teachers with a strong track record of improving teacher performance, instructional quality, and student outcomes.
