Responsibilities
Serve as an adjunct Instructor/Professor at Mississippi Valley State University (MVSU). Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses and participating in some departmental activities. Applicants should have a strong commitment to teaching and should provide evidence of a commitment to effective teaching and mentoring. Occasional monitoring and training of students for departmental activities may be required on a project‑by‑project basis. Successful candidates should demonstrate a genuine desire to contribute to the mission of MVSU.

Applicants must hold a Ph.D. or Master’s degree in a relevant field of study or a closely related field, or have 18 graduate credit hours in the subject matter area for which the application is submitted. All adjunct instructors/professors are required to participate in adjunct‑faculty orientation and online teaching workshops prior to employment.

- Preference will be given to candidates with teaching experience (in person and online) in core disciplinary subject areas. We are accepting applications for all disciplines/degree programs offered at the University.
