Job Summary
The University of Mississippi seeks a tenure‑track associate professor of elementary education with a specialization in reading instruction. The successful candidate will teach courses, supervise students in the field, conduct research, and contribute to the department’s service culture.
Job Responsibilities- Teach graduate and undergraduate courses
- Supervise students in their field experiences
- Develop and maintain a productive research agenda
- Serve on department, school, and university committees
- Doctorate completed or ABD with anticipated completion date prior to the start of the fall 2026 semester
- At least three years of experience teaching in K‑12 schools (or equivalent)
- Relevant experience in elementary education and reading instruction
