Job Summary

The University of Mississippi seeks a tenure‑track associate professor of elementary education with a specialization in reading instruction. The successful candidate will teach courses, supervise students in the field, conduct research, and contribute to the department’s service culture.

Job Responsibilities
  • Teach graduate and undergraduate courses
  • Supervise students in their field experiences
  • Develop and maintain a productive research agenda
  • Serve on department, school, and university committees
Minimum Qualifications
  • Doctorate completed or ABD with anticipated completion date prior to the start of the fall 2026 semester
Preferred Qualifications
  • At least three years of experience teaching in K‑12 schools (or equivalent)
  • Relevant experience in elementary education and reading instruction
