D2 Government Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Medical Support Instructor II to support delivery of the Navy Expeditionary Combat Skills (ECS) course. This role provides hands‑on instruction to personnel assigned to Navy Expeditionary Combat Command and Naval Special Warfare organizations.
The ECS course prepares students to operate safely and effectively in high‑risk security environments through training in medical response, field skills, weapons safety, and expeditionary operations.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver instruction in Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC), Basic First Aid, CPR, Land Navigation, and other assigned ECS topics.
- Support classroom, laboratory, and field‑based training activities in accordance with approved curriculum and training standards.
- Provide instructional and safety support during live‑fire weapons training.
- Maintain familiarity with lesson materials, delivery methods, testing procedures, remediation processes, training aids, electronic podiums, and associated equipment.
- Complete all required instructor evaluation and certification requirements prior to independently teaching Navy students.
- Maintain current TCCC certification in accordance with the latest Pre‑Hospital Trauma Life Support standards throughout the period of performance.
- Demonstrate modern dynamic combat shooting skills and maintain required weapons proficiency standards.
- Serve as a designated Range Safety Officer (RSO) when assigned, including completion of required qualifications, Personnel Qualification Standards, and formal designation requirements.
- Support student learning, safety, and mission readiness in a structured military training environment.

- Ability to teach assigned course content and successfully complete associated testing.
- Ability to perform all required training evolutions, including weapons qualification in standing, kneeling, and prone positions.
- Ability to climb ladders, move through narrow passageways, and operate safely in demanding training environments.
- Physical fitness sufficient to support the level of instruction required by the course.
- Ability to obtain and maintain current TCCC certification in accordance with applicable standards.
- Strong communication, instructional, and safety‑awareness skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in a disciplined military training environment.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience in the military, law enforcement, or another security‑related discipline.
- Familiarity with high‑risk training environments and weapons safety procedures.
- Ability to become familiar with the M9 Service Pistol and M4 Carbine and meet required qualification standards, including sharpshooter‑level performance when required.
- Ability to meet all instructor certification and contract‑specific requirements prior to independent instruction.
- Current Tactical Combat Casualty Care certification.
- Prior experience instructing medical, tactical, or expeditionary skills training.
- Prior Range Safety Officer experience or related range qualifications.
