Associate Dean, Accreditation And Assessment
The College of Education and Human Development at Jackson State University invites applications for the position of Associate Dean, Accreditation and Assessment.
The Associate Dean will provide strategic leadership, coordination, and oversight for accreditation, assessment, accountability, and continuous improvement efforts within the College of Education and Human Development.
Ensuring continued compliance with standards and reporting requirements of the following accrediting and regulatory bodies:
Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP), Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP), Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC), and the Mississippi Department of Education.
Leading preparation for accreditation reviews, site visits, annual reports, self-studies, substantive change reports, and corrective action plans.
Producing reports, dashboards, summaries, and analyses for college leadership, faculty, university administration, and accrediting agencies.
Conducting professional development and related activities related to accreditation and assessment.
Assisting with strategic planning, policy development, institutional reporting, and program review activities.
Performing additional duties as assigned by the Dean.
Earned doctorate in education, counseling, higher education, educational leadership, assessment, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
Higher education administrative experience at the program coordinator/direct level or higher.
Demonstrated experience with accreditation, assessment, educator preparation, or institutional effectiveness in higher education.
Knowledge of accreditation and accountability systems, including CAEP, CACREP, SACSCOC, state educator licensure standards, and assessment frameworks.
Experience leading accreditation self-studies, annual reporting, or site visit preparation.
Experience in educator preparation program assessment and accountability.
Demonstrated success in faculty training and professional development related to assessment and accreditation.
Experience managing institutional or programmatic assessment data and survey administration.
