Job GoalTo assist classroom teachers in implementing the District's Curriculum Guidelines
Performance Responsibilities1. To be a classroom leader for the school and an educational consultant for the community. 2. To install and maintain within the classroom those instructional and pupil practices appropriate for quality learning program and classroom management. 3. To serve as a contributing member of the school team for planning, evaluating, and implementing educational services. 4. To comply with all school district policies rules, and regulations, state statutes and regulations, and accreditation standards in accordance with procedures established by the school district.
5. Exhibit instructional and managerial skills appropriate for successful student participation and educational service.
6. Participate in faculty meetings, parent conferences, curriculum planning and preparation, student activities, assemblies and discipline management.
7. Comply with all state and federal laws and requirements.
8. Special assignments made by the teacher and/or principal.
187 Days. Salary for this position commensurate with the years of experience as determined under the policies and procedures for the Moss Point School District and in accordance with the pay scale.
EvaluationPerformance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with provisions of the Board Trustees' policy on evaluation of District personnel.
