The General Education Regional Coordinator will lead implementation of Early Learning Collaboratives in Northeast Mississippi for the Department of Education's Office of Early Childhood. The role manages day-to-day regional operations, supervises Early Childhood Coaches, and provides technical assistance and training to pre‑K teachers on developmentally appropriate practices and the Classroom Assessment Scoring System (CLASS).
Key Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood or Education
- Five years of supervisory experience including staff meetings, reporting, and travel coordination
- Five years of classroom experience as an educator
- Five years as a mentor or technical assistant
- Three years of independent work experience without an on-site manager
- Knowledge of Classroom Assessment Scoring System (CLASS) and web-based early learning data systems
