Senior Data Architect (Snowflake, AWS, DBT)

Rate: $90.00 to $100.00/hr. w2
Responsibilities- Develop and drive enterprise-wide data architecture strategies that align with business goals and technology roadmaps.
- Lead the design of complex, cross-functional data solutions across platforms and domains.
- Provide thought leadership in emerging concepts such as data mesh and data fabric.
- Architect advanced solutions for big data, real-time analytics, and machine learning.
- Design and implement data lakes, data warehouses, and hybrid architectures.
- Lead adoption of cloud-native data platforms and services.
- Define strategies for integrating data across diverse systems and platforms.
- Evaluate and recommend emerging data technologies and methodologies.
- Lead proofs of concept for new data architecture approaches and influence vendor roadmaps.
- Establish and enforce data architecture standards and best practices.
- Contribute to data governance, compliance, and data quality strategies.
- Mentor data architects and data professionals and lead training and workshops.
- Represent the organization in industry forums and contribute through publications or speaking.
- Set architectural plans and provide direction for engineering execution.
- 10+ years in enterprise data architecture or engineering with a strong focus on cloud data platform architecture.
- Proven experience designing and delivering large-scale data systems in cloud-native environments.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS, Snowflake, dbt, Sigma, and AI, including building data applications within Snowflake.
- Experience designing scalable architectures to support growth and organizational adoption.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- AWS certification (preferred).
