Resident Engineer – Technical Support Services Contract 5 (T5)
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) awarded the Technical Support Services Contract 5 (T5) to Parsons as the prime contractor. This $1.8 billion+ contract spans a 4‑year base period with two 3‑year options and involves activities that support the FAA’s Capital Investment Plan (CIP) modernization efforts, including site selection, engineering, construction, environmental and fire/life safety, equipment installation, testing, CAD, and other technical services.

- Perform inspections and surveillance activities based on training received.
- Interact cross‑functionally with project team members and management.
- Implement inspection, examination, and testing procedures; record and document inspection data.
- Inspect and document subcontractor work.
- Conduct First‑Article / In‑Process Inspection as needed (may include source inspection).
- Ensure compliance with HSE requirements applicable to the work scope.
- Document and communicate inspection results clearly and concisely.
- Understand contract requirements and subcontractor contract requirements.
- Perform other functions associated with this position as appropriate.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Physical Science, Math, Quality, or a related field (or a High School/Trade School diploma).
- 4+ years of related construction experience.
- 8+ years of equivalent work experience.
- Ability to pass a government background check.
- Willingness to travel.
- Basic computer skills, including MS Windows, MS Word, and MS Excel; proficiency with scheduling software preferred.
- Experience photographing with a digital camera and uploading files to a computer or internet site.
- Ability to read and understand drawings, codes, standards, and specifications.
- Experience with tower, concrete, and civil projects is highly preferred.
- Previous airport experience preferred.
- Self‑starter who learns and adapts quickly.

Salary and BenefitsSalary Range: $35.96 – $62.93 per hour.
