General Technician Intermediate

As a Field Environmental Technician, the selected candidate will perform Operation & Maintenance activities in support of our Groundwater Treatment Plant and related area sites in Ocean Springs, MS. You’ll be responsible for diagnosing equipment and system operations problems, performing necessary corrective action (pump repair, cleaning, lancing conveyance, piping replacement, equipment troubleshooting, etc.), and providing solutions to complex challenges that may arise.

Perform regular site inspections and verify systems are operating appropriately. Communicates system deficiencies with team and field leaders to navigate solution. Collects and documents field data. Experience with PLC and SCADA systems, and previous HAZWOPER and/or Confined Space Entry training are a plus but are not required. Other responsibilities may also include construction equipment operation, exterior building and grounds maintenance, etc.,

as required.

'Operations and Maintenance Field Technician:

Responsibilities include the following:

• Maintain a safe and environmentally compliant work site
• Perform O&M tasks for continued long-term performance of a groundwater and solid waste environmental remediation facility
• Work independently and within a team framework for successful completion of assigned tasks
• Perform maintenance and rebuilds of site equipment with capabilities to identify failed components, recommend replacement needs, and install components per specific HSSE guidelines
• Maintain required documentation legibly, on time, and in an organized manner
