Job Description- Coordination of various Substation and Transmission Line Construction projects in different areas of Entergy
- Design of electric transmission and distribution facilities and perform various engineering technical reviews/studies using computer based systems.
- Work as part of a cross-function Team to meet the needs of Capital Projects.
- Work is approximately 50% in office and 50% out of office, year around.
- Work assignment complexity and responsibility grows with tenure of student employees.
- Performs other duties as directed by management.
- Seeking Electrical, Mechanical, and Civil engineering majors to work full time during the designated semesters.
- Must be currently enrolled in school full-time, pursuing a bachelor’s degree as indicated above, and enrolled in sophomore year or beyond.
- Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8 (on a 4.0 scale), verified through an official transcript from the previous semester.
- Computer skills–- familiar with various databases, as well as Windows environment and Microsoft toolkit (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Must have good communication and Customer Service skills.
Office and Field work. Some situations might require ability to work in adverse climate conditions and physical nature of work may require walking long distances in uneven off-road environments. Some travel may be necessary.
