Venue Usher​/Ticket taker- Gorge

Job Summary

The Gorge Amphitheater is seeking an Usher/Greeter/Ticket Taker. The holder of this position is responsible for ensuring the safety, cleanliness, and overall guest experience at the venue before, during, and after shows.

• Greet guests, scan tickets at entry, answer questions, and locate seats.
• Assist with keeping the venue safe, clean, and presentable.
• Resolve guest complaints or problems.
• Verify ticket authenticity and examine passes.
• Assist guests with special needs, including seat accommodations.
• Participate in venue recycling and sustainability efforts.
• Guide guests to exits and provide instructions in emergencies.
• Verify staff credentials for restricted areas.
• Help collect recyclables and properly store event equipment after shows.
• Provide directions to places inside or outside the venue.
• Ensure guests enjoy the show safely.
• Perform additional tasks as requested by management.

• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• At least 1 year of experience in a guest‑service role (preferred).
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Judgment, tact, and diplomacy in guest interactions.
• Physical ability to walk, climb stairs, lift, and carry up to 25 lbs.

$17.13 USD – $19.00 USD per hour.
