Job SummaryTo direct and oversee payroll operations, manage deductions, ensure accurate updates to taxes, insurance, employee benefits, and other deductions, and authorize payroll disbursements.
Education and Experience RequiredBachelor's degree and five (5) years of experience in payroll, accounting, or finance including two (2) years of supervisory experience.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities- Knowledge of payroll systems, policies, and procedures.
- Skill in the use of personal computers, accounting software, and other relevant software applications.
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- Interpersonal skills.
- Directs the operations and staff of the payroll department, establishing policies and procedures to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing.
- Oversees payroll reconciliation, resolving over payments and discrepancies, and ensures accurate reporting for quarterly and year‑end federal and state filings.
- Provides strategic oversight of employee deductions, ensuring proper allocation and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Monitors Social Security and tax issues for non‑resident alien employees and ensures accurate reconciliation of general ledger accounts.
- Authorizes and oversees payroll changes resulting from promotions, demotions, and terminations.
- Drives process improvements, including system enhancements and workflow optimization, to maximize efficiency, accuracy, and operational excellence.
