Job Description
Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst needed for a direct hire opportunity with Yoh’s Aerospace and Defense client located in Iuka MS.
Job Details- Type: Direct Hire
- Location: Iuka, Mississippi 38852
- Annual Salary: $108,000
- Schedule: Onsite
- None to start – Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD secret within a reasonable time frame as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
- Expiration – DoD minimum, must be renewed and activated within the last five years.
Seeking a qualified Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst to join our team of high performing, diverse individuals. This position will be located on site in Iuka, MS and requires working from our NG facility. The Air Dominance Division is a fast paced, dynamic, and complex environment that requires a candidate to possess self‑initiative, strong analytical skills, and solid leadership characteristics.
EssentialFunctions
- Under minimal supervision, interface with the program managers, functional management, and cost account managers (CAMs) to provide financial and administrative support and analysis to meet program requirements.
- Provide monthly performance management, financial planning and reporting, and performance measurement baseline concepts across multiple contracts, working with an Integrated Product Team (IPT).
- Possess experience with proposal, pre‑contract, and contract startup. Good leadership skills and the ability to work with the Program Office while leading a smaller team are essential.
- Prepare budgets and schedules for contract work and perform and/or assist in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis.
- Prepare program plans to ensure program requirements and statement of work are captured and scheduled.
- Perform analyses and prepare reports to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed‑upon parameters and government cost control guidelines.
- Ensure adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures, directing preparation of expenditure projections, and submitting timely requests for additional funding to the government.
- Conduct cost analysis to develop EACs, generate financial inputs, and support monthly cost and schedule reviews.
- Identify pressures and opportunities and develop recovery plans as required.
- Set up cost control systems (e.g., CostPoint and COBRA) and incorporate changes into the cost management system to maintain cost and schedule baselines.
- Provide support to Integrated Product Teams, Cost Management, and Business Management Managers.
- Assist CAMs with performance management activities including WBS alignment, time phasing of tasks, developing and documenting performance methodologies, monthly performance measurement, estimate to complete analysis and updates, and variance analysis research and reporting.
- Support audits and reviews requested by programs, customers, and company management.
- Prepare customer performance and status reports and prepare and/or review performance measurement analysis.
This position may be filled as either a level 2 Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst or level 3 Principal Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst.
Basic Qualifications (Level2)
- Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of experience in program control, cost planning, business, finance, budgeting and/or similar industry related fields or a master’s degree with experience in these areas.
- Experience with MS Office including Excel (with Macros, Pivot tables and VLOOKUP) and PowerPoint.

- Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience in program control, cost planning, business, finance, budgeting and/or similar industry related fields or a master’s degree with 3 years of experience in these areas.
- Experience with MS Office including Excel (with Macros, Pivot tables and VLOOKUP) and PowerPoint.
- Intermediate to advanced skills working in Deltek systems like Cobra and/or MPM.
- Experience with CostPoint and/or SAP.
- Experience successfully supporting a monthly reporting & financial rhythm.
- Understanding of and experience with providing support to Integrated Product Teams (IPT).
- Candidate must gain and have an understanding of, and adherence to, company policies, procedures and internal controls.
