Responsibilities- Creation of Correspondence Cases
- Provide Assistance to and Answer Questions from Taxpayers and Agency Personnel
- Manually Add Individual Income and Corporate Tax Returns to MARS Accounts
- Associate corporate and Income Tax Return Case to Taxpayer Account
- Review and Process Payments Received Without Documentation
- Pre‑Edit Returns and Documents
- Correspondences to Request Additional Information from Taxpayer's
- Open and Distribute Mail
This position’s performance will be rated on the timely and accurate processing of work items and cases as assigned by management. You will need to be able to learn the complexities of tax administration to understand the State’s tax laws, rules, and regulations. Be proficient in using Microsoft Word, Excel and other computer software. Ability to multitask and manage assigned tasks.
Preferred QualificationsTypically requires a Bachelor’s Degree or High School Diploma or high school equivalency and 4 years of experience.
