Customer Service Representative - School Finance Officer

The Mississippi Department of Education is seeking a qualified and motivated individual to serve as a Customer Service Representative in the role of School Finance Officer within the Office of School Financial Services. The School Finance Officer will provide administrative and financial support to School Financial Services Officers and assist with the accurate and timely processing of financial and administrative activities.

The successful candidate will:

• Provide administrative support to School Financial Services Officers.
• Assist with the preparation, monitoring, and maintenance of budgets.
• Process and maintain contracts, invoices, and purchase orders.
• Assist with invoice payment and related financial documentation.
• Maintain accurate and organized electronic and financial records.
• Prepare, organize, combine, and manage PDF documents.
• Manage email correspondence and administrative communications through Microsoft Outlook.
• Communicate professionally and effectively with staff, school districts, vendors, and other program offices.
• Perform other duties as assigned or required.
