A company is looking for an Ambulance Revenue Cycle Specialist I to manage accounts receivable and ensure timely reimbursement for ambulance services.
Key Responsibilities Perform accounts receivable follow-up activities for assigned payers/accounts Contact insurance companies, patients, and employers regarding outstanding ambulance claims Analyze credit balances and manage workflow for accounts assigned, ensuring compliance with policies
Required Qualifications High School education (G.E.D.) with a minimum of two years of relevant experience preferred Six months to one year of experience in a computerized accounts receivable system preferred Short-term training in business office processes and procedures preferred PC experience with Microsoft Office Word and Excel Knowledge of ICD9/ICD
10 and HCPCS is beneficial
