- Interview and screen applicants to determine eligibility for Wagner‑Peyser and Workforce Innovation Opportunity Act (WIOA) related programs.
- Perform employer and community outreach to market all agency services.
- Screen and refer qualified participants to job orders.
- Case‑manage participants of various Federal and State programs.
- Assist participants in the Resource Center with online services.
- Assist with Workforce Innovation Opportunity Act training programs, including the On‑The‑Job Training program and the Individual Training Account program.
- Assist customers in person, by telephone, and at the reception desk.
- Work with all Federal and State programs within the office.
- Travel, when required, and make presentations to small and large groups of customers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Good interpersonal/customer service skills, good verbal/written communication skills, time management, and organizational skills.
- Outstanding computer skills, including proficiency with internet‑based applications and email.
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree and 0–2 years of experience, or an Associate’s Degree and 2–3 years of experience.
- Agency preferred qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four‑year college or university and two (2) years of experience in a directly related field. - All applicants must have a valid driver’s license and pass an extensive background check.
