Workforce Development Coordinator
MLC is seeking a Workforce Development Coordinator to join its Human Resources team. The position will develop and manage onboarding programs to improve new employee integration and reduce early turnover. The coordinator will also support performance management, employee development, leadership coaching, workforce training, succession planning, and talent development initiatives. The role will include identifying training needs, creating and presenting professional development opportunities, monitoring workforce trends and training outcomes, and using employee development metrics to support informed decision-making.
The coordinator will also assist with personnel actions in SPAHRS, MAGIC EC, and NEOGOV, as well as processing travel-related payments and reimbursements.
Strong communication, organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are essential. The successful candidate will demonstrate sound judgment, the ability to build effective working relationships, and a commitment to employee development and engagement. Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and 2-4 years of experience. Experience with SPAHRS, MAGIC EC, NEOGOV, and MSPB performance review systems is preferred. Candidates should have experience creating and presenting staff training, mentoring employees, and providing coaching and support.
