IT Consultant, Systems Analyst
Cognizant Technology Solutions is seeking an Empower Architect who could join our team in a permanent role.

Job Description- 10+ years of expert experience as a certified Empower administrator, including advanced troubleshooting across multisite enterprise deployments.
- Architect and optimize GxP compliant Empower CDS platforms, ensuring scalable, efficient, and compliant operation across all servers and clients.
- Maintain deep awareness of current and emerging GxP/CDS regulatory expectations and implement forward looking configuration solutions to align with industry trends.
- Provide operational oversight for platform support teams, guiding planned activities, issue resolution, and overall technical direction.
- Lead or supervise the build and configuration of Empower platform servers and clients following validated templates and standardized processes.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive IT and business procedures, SOPs, and training materials for Empower platform operations.
- Design innovative Empower configurations to support evolving business needs and laboratory workflows.
- Collaborate with cross functional IT teams to design, validate, and troubleshoot complex or novel architecture solutions.
- Create and enhance architectural strategies for Empower platforms supporting multiple instruments in pharmaceutical R&D environments.
- Bring desirable experience working in consent decree environments, ensuring high compliance and audit ready system operations.
- Lead and mentor small technical teams, providing supervisory guidance and technical leadership.
- Support complex chromatography data system upgrades in regulated environments, ensuring validation and compliance.
- Develop UAT test cases, coordinate execution, and guide testers through User Acceptance Testing processes.
- Communicate effectively with technical and non technical stakeholders, clearly explaining architectural decisions and system configurations.

The annual salary for this position is between $75,000 - $132,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
