Eaton’s IS AER FMC division is currently seeking a Network Scheduler. This position is based at our Jackson, MS facility. The Jackson facility has approximately 550 employees and is a leader in the design, development, and manufacture of Aerospace hydraulic components, systems, and services to the global aftermarket and OEM markets.
Expected annual salary range: $97,000 - $143,000 per year. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
What you’ll doJob summary:
The Supply Chain Network Scheduler is a key role in the integrated, intelligent and agile supply chain organization, focusing on the 0‑3 months execution horizon, owning short‑term product availability and exception management for FG & semi‑finished goods for their value stream across markets where there is an imbalance between supply and demand. The Network Scheduler is the primary face of supply for a given value stream, owning capacity & material constraint escalations by leveraging scenario planning and ensuring collaboration between demand and supply stakeholders.
This role reports into the Network Planner role.
- Manages a team of production planners—or the respective production planning team leads—across the sites that are under the incumbent’s supervision.
- Develops timely and accurate plans for finished products at assigned level of the supply network and for short‑term finished goods availability in the markets within the 0 to 12 weeks horizon for their portfolio.
- Manages all exceptions in the short‑term horizon and collaborates with teams across the Eaton network and external vendors as needed, to identify root causes and drive corrective and preventative actions to solve exceptions.
- Creates the Master Production Schedule (MPS).
- Coordinates team of CoE resources (buyers, planners, production schedulers…) to deliver MPS plan.
- Interfaces with operations to drive schedule adherence.
- Reports and analyses key performance indicators to drive supply network improvements in cash, cost and customer service results.
- Ensures a feasible plan to minimize demand at risk and maximize customer service level while remaining within inventory and cost targets.
- Collaborates effectively with multiple functions to drive improvements across the end‑to‑end Supply Chain and serve customers efficiently.
- Manages all exceptions in the 0‑12 weeks horizon where there is an imbalance in demand and supply, collaborates on root‑cause analysis and drives corrective actions.
- Ensures capacity shortages are addressed or escalated.
- Evaluates and shares the impact of material exceptions on the short‑term FG plan with material planners.
- Monitors customer on‑time service level and inventory exceptions in the short term.
- Participates in decision making and movement of slow moving inventory within the value stream.
- Monitors planning parameters accuracy by conducting periodic audits and getting ERP updated as needed.
- Acts as primary point of contact for product availability in their value stream.
- Stays close to the demand information to react quicker to changes.
- Owns escalations, brings to conclusion in cooperation with material planners, buyers and production schedulers.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in Supply Chain (Materials Management, Inventory management, demand planning, supply planning, procurement, SIOP) or Operations.
- Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future.
- No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50‑mile radius of the facility will be considered. Active‑Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (Supply Chain, Logistics, etc.) preferred.
- Prior technical or functional leadership experience.
- CPIM certification.
