About the PositionThis position is located in the Purchasing Department of MDOC. It will serve to resolve procurement and purchasing related issues. Duties include purchasing orders, invoices, verifying the accuracy for errors in calculations and completion of purchase requisitions, processing purchase orders mainly $5,000.00-$75,000.00 threshold, assigning assets, assist in the process of numerous requisition that are received from all statewide prison facilities, maintain files, and communicate with vendors and MDOC staff.
Completing special projects, and other duties as assigned.
This position requires excellent organization, communication, and time management skills. Preferably MAGIC and purchasing experience.
