Housekeeper, Maintenance​/Cleaning

Perform cleaning functions in assigned area to maintain a sanitary, attractive and orderly condition. Reports to Supervisor.

• Sweeps, mops, and polishes floors.
• Vacuums and spot cleans carpets.
• Dusts furniture, woodwork, equipment, and dust mops floors.
• Polishes and cleans fixtures in utility room and bathrooms.
• Cleans fixtures, equipment, windows, walls, rest rooms, etc.
• Stocks supplies in rest rooms as needed.
• Remove solid linens, trash, bio-hazard from collection areas.
• Notifies supervisor regarding needed repairs: submits supply order sheers on a weekly basis.
• Gathers and disposes trash and waste materials.
• Assist and perform Laundry Tech Linen Handler functions as needed.
• Assist and perform Utility Tech functions as needed.
• Participates in educational programs and in-services.
• Attends meetings as required.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Performs routine and repetitive tasks from detailed written instructions.
• Attention to detail of work routine required.
