0665 - MEDICAID DIVISION

Salary: $65,774.75 - $ Annually

Typically requires state licensure as a Registered Nurse, and 6 years of experience.

This is a non-state service (NS14), time-limited position with the Mississippi Division of Medicaid. This position is responsible for managing the External Contract Management Division of the Office of Program Integrity. Duties that would be performed by this employee would include but are not limited to the following:

• Provide oversight and monitor performance of each external auditing contract including but not limited to the coordinated care organizations and non-emergency transportation.
• Train and supervise staff and other contract professionals.
• Identify potential improvements to existing contracts, policies, and SOPs. Ability to draft language for improvements.
• Develop and implement procedures and policies for program effectiveness and compliance with DOM policy.
• Maintain contractual records and documentation.
• Communicate and present information to stakeholders.
• Problem solving contract related issues.

This position requires state licensure as a Registered Nurse, 6 years of experience, and a working knowledge of Managed Care Organizations and their oversight.
