About the PositionThis time‑limited (NS‑14) supervisory role is located at the Collins State Veterans Home. The Team Lead directs and oversees a variety of facility, grounds, and specialized trade workers and contractors in the maintenance, operation, and repair of state facilities, equipment, and grounds. Responsibilities include hiring recommendations, training, work planning, assignments, performance assessment, coaching, and progressive discipline.
Preferred Qualifications- Typically requires 2–4 years of experience in semi‑skilled work.
- Knowledge and skills to perform and review the work overseen.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service orientation.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team.
