Your Impact

As a Welding Trainer, you deliver the welding training and perform other duties related to welding training in our Houston, MS manufacturing plant. You will ensure we consistently produce skilled, production-ready welders who meet our quality, safety, and operational standards at scale.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Help create and deliver hands on welding training to new welding trainee team members in a welding lab environment
  • Provide constructive feedback to trainees as they progress thru the four week program
  • Teach and enforce Accelevation welding competency standards, assessments, and progression throughout the program
  • Partner closely with Operations to ensure training delivered is in line with current production needs
  • Maintain all training documentation and paperwork required
  • Perform general maintenance/upkeep on welding tools and machinery
  • Support team members with continued development of welding skills
  • Provide availability & willingness to support training efforts across multiple shifts as needed
Qualifications
  • Experience in in MIG welding and a coach mindset driven to teach others
  • Strong technical knowledge of welding processes relevant to production environments
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and influence others; must have a desire to teach and coach other to succeed
  • Experience partnering with Operations, Production, and Quality teams
  • Strong communication, organization, and decision-making skills
  • Welding certifications (e.g., CWI) are a plus but not required
