Industrial Maintenance Technician
Location: Newton, MS
Work Arrangement: Onsite, Full-Time
Shift: 3rd Shift 5:00 PM - 5:00 AM (Rotation: 3 days on, 1 day off, 3 days on, 3 days off)
What You’ll Do- Electrical Maintenance: Perform troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance on industrial electrical systems including 480V-600V equipment, motors, and variable frequency drives (VFDs) to ensure reliable plant operations.
- Mechanical Systems Support: Conduct maintenance and repairs on mechanical systems such as roller and belt conveyors, supporting overall equipment functionality.
- PLC Operations: Utilize knowledge of Allen‑Brayley PLCs to diagnose and resolve control system issues, enhancing automation reliability.
- Shift Work Execution: Operate effectively during the 5PM to 5AM shift on a 3‑day on, 1‑day off, 3‑day on, 3‑day off schedule, maintaining consistent equipment uptime.
- Achieve minimal downtime through proactive maintenance and rapid troubleshooting, contributing to plant efficiency and safety.
- Demonstrate 100% commitment to zero‑harm behaviors in support of a world‑class safety culture.
- 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience with strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Experience working with 480V‑600V electrical systems, motors, and VFDs.
- Experience with Allen‑Brayley PLCs.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Flexibility and reliability in shift work environments.
- Experience with roller and belt conveyor systems.
- Knowledge of preventative maintenance best practices.
