CNC Operator Jackson, MS

Your Role on Our Team:

The CNC Operator is responsible for producing machined parts by operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine.

• Operate multiple CNC and manual machining equipment and workstations (50%)
• Load, unload, and inspect components to Operational Method Sheets (OMS) using proper gaging equipment (40%)
• Make offsets and adjustments as required (20%)
• Independently adjust and maintain part specifications and replenish component components (10%)
• Inform Facilitator or Department Manager about processes or equipment requiring attention (10%)
• Complete documentation as required or requested (10%)
• Participate in continuous improvement projects specifically designed to improve processes, productivity, and quality, especially those related to corrective actions (10%)
• Adhere to all safety requirements in the work area (10%)

• Ability to read and interpret drawings and blueprints
• Sufficient knowledge interpreting technical data accurately
• Mechanical aptitude and basic math skills
• Proficient problem solving and analytical skills
• Highly detail‑oriented
• High school diploma or equivalent

Tasks include standing, walking between stations, lifting up to 30 pounds, using handheld measuring devices, and wearing personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, leather shoes, gloves, and protective ear coverings.
