DescriptionJob Duties and Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:

- Abrade metal surfaces to remove light scale and impart a surface finish sufficient for parts to receive coating
- Mask specified areas of parts to protect from abrading prior to coating.
- Examine blasted parts to ensure conformance to process requirements
- Service and maintain machinery in accordance with company and manufacturers' procedures.
- Follow instructions per traveler
- Load and unload the ovens.
- Set up and operate a blast booth or similar equipment.
- Maintains records and logs as needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
