Abito Corp., a leading garment and cotton knit fabric supplier with its own factory in the USA, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Operations Manager to join our team. We pride ourselves on producing and supplying high-quality garments both locally and worldwide, built on a reputation for reliability, efficiency, and incredibly high standards in apparel production. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a hands‑on approach to managing our production facility in Jackson, Mississippi, United States
. This is a Full-Time position, crucial for driving operational excellence and ensuring our manufacturing processes are as efficient and effective as possible.
- Managing the day-to-day activities of the production facility to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Developing and implementing operational strategies to improve productivity, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Overseeing the entire production lifecycle, from raw material sourcing to the dispatch of finished garments.
- Ensuring that production targets are consistently met on schedule and within budget.
- Upholding our commitment to quality by implementing and maintaining rigorous quality control standards and procedures.
- Managing supply chain logistics, inventory control, and procurement of materials.
- Leading, mentoring, and developing the operational team to foster a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
- Ensuring full compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Preparing and presenting regular performance reports and operational budgets to senior management.
We are looking for a professional with a proven track record in manufacturing and operations management.
- Demonstrable experience in an Operations Manager role, preferably within the garment, textile, or a related manufacturing industry.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
- In-depth knowledge of production management, quality assurance, supply chain, and lean manufacturing principles.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making capabilities.
- Proficient in using operational management software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional organisational and time-management skills.
- A degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a relevant field is highly desirable.
