Packer Floor Operator

Skilled role responsible for operating advanced packaging systems, optimizing line performance, and leading minor troubleshooting and improvement efforts.

• Ability to troubleshoot equipment, read technical manuals, and use measurement tools.
• Familiarity with computerized systems (HMI, SCADA, etc.) is a plus.
• Demonstrated leadership or team lead experience preferred.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• 35 years of experience operating packaging machinery.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain automated packaging lines.
• Perform root cause analysis on recurring issues and coordinate with maintenance.
• Lead small teams or shifts in absence of supervisor.
• Maintain inventory of packaging supplies and notify when restocking is needed.
• Work with Quality Assurance to ensure compliance.
• Support improvement projects and training of junior operators.
• Additional duties as assigned

• High level of safety and quality
• Ability to multi-task at a fast-pace (at times), work in outside conditions during all seasons, climb multi-levels by stairs & ladders, work from elevated platforms, use hand tools (shovel, hammer, wrenches, etc.)
• Good problem-solving skills
• Mine Safety and Health (MSHA) Knowledge
