Essential Duties And Responsibilites
- Work from verbal instructions / blue prints / drawings and/or work orders.
- Setup equipment / prepare surfaces to be welded /weld parts.
- Must be able to use hand tools such as grinders, etc.
- Maintain inventory of parts used in area.
- Must report all accidents/injuries to department supervisor immediately.
- Prompt and regular attendance.
- May perform additional duties as assigned by the department supervisor.
- Keep work area clean, neat and orderly.
- Follow all safety rules, policies and procedures
Skills And Abilities
- Must have prior MIG/TIG work experience
- Must be able to demonstrate good welding ability with minimal training.
- Must have basic math skills
- Must have good hand/eye coordination
- A high school diploma or GED is required
- Rarely (0-12%):
- Occasionally (12-33%):
Fingering/Grasping/Feeling - Frequently (34-66%):
Climbing/Stooping/Kneeling - Regularly (67-100%):
Seeing/Hearing/Standing/Walking/Lifting/Pulling/Pushing
