About This Organization

The Pastor/Director of College Ministry provides spiritual, visionary, and team-based leadership for Pinelake’s college ministry across all campuses. This leader oversees the discipleship, community‑building, outreach, and leadership development of college‑aged students, while coaching and resourcing College Pastors and Ministers at each location. They cultivate biblical community, shape ministry strategy, lead collaboration for events and experiences, and ensure alignment with Pinelake’s mission to help people learn from Christ, live in Christ, and lead others to Christ.

They play a central role in influencing the spiritual formation and direction of Pinelake’s college movement.

Pinelake Church is a thriving multisite church serving communities across Mississippi through five campuses and a unified One Church strategy. Since its beginnings in 1971, Pinelake has grown steadily under faithful leadership and a deep conviction that the local church is God’s primary vehicle for life transformation. Today, more than 15,000 people gather weekly to worship, study Scripture, and live out the mission of helping people

Learn from Christ, Live in Christ, and Lead others to Christ.

With a strong commitment to biblical teaching, discipleship, and community outreach, Pinelake is known for creating environments where people encounter the truth of God’s Word and experience life change. Their vision —to see Mississippi changed one Life Change Story at a time— drives every ministry area, including a robust Next Gen ecosystem that invests deeply in kids, students, and families. Across all campuses, the One Church Team provides unified leadership, strategy, and resourcing that enables Pinelake to move collaboratively and consistently toward its mission.

Location

Pinelake Church began in 1971 with a few families in a lakeside trailer—and now reaches over 19,000 people weekly across five campuses. The church is rooted in strong biblical teaching, Spirit‑led worship, and a desire to help every person learn from Jesus, live like Jesus, and lead others to Him.

Their reach is big, but their heartbeat is local invested in every corner of the state, from college towns to suburbs to small rural communities.

“The pace of life—raising a family and living in community with your neighbors—is ideal.”
