Position: Certified Nurse Aide (CNA)

Job Summary:

Provides direct care for Long-Term Care Residents, primarily Activities of Daily Living (ADL’s) and other care conducive to Residents’ well‑being, comfort and safety.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Provides care and explanation to the Residents according to the Activities of Daily Living (ADL’s) Care Plan
Assists with new admits, transfers and discharges
Communicates with Nursing Department co‑workers and other Departments to meet needs of Residents
Answers Residents’ Call Lights promptly
Recognizes and responds to verbal and non‑verbal communication from Residents

Qualifications and Skills:

Must have and maintain current Nurse Aide Certification in good standing with MS Department of Health, Division of Licensure and Certification
