Position Overview
Registered Nurse – Jackson, Mississippi.
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 3:00p.m.–11:00p.m.We are assisting a behavioral health service provider in Jackson, Mississippi, with its search for a full‑time Registered Nurse (RN). This mission‑driven organization is dedicated to improving the lives of children and adolescents by providing high‑quality behavioral health services in a compassionate, collaborative environment.
- Provide and coordinate nursing care using the nursing process
- Implement physician orders and monitor youth health status
- Coordinate medical, dental, and specialty appointments
- Complete required nursing documentation and medication monitoring
- Train staff on vital signs and infection control procedures
- Participate in treatment team meetings and collaborate with physicians and clinical staff
- Active Mississippi Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Two years of psychiatric nursing experience preferred
- One year of experience working with children and adolescents
- Current CPR certification
- Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
