Clinic Float Staff Nurse
Mississippi Sports Medicine is hiring a clinic float staff nurse. This position will provide high-quality care to patients seen within the clinic. The clinic float nurse is responsible for floating to assigned physician clinics when the groups are short-staffed.
Experience /
Educational Requirements:
Education:
Graduate of accredited school of nursing
Certification / License Requirements:
Must possess a valid Mississippi nursing license
Experience:
One-year clinical experience preferred
Essential Functions:
- Full-time position:
Monday-Friday, 7:30am-5:00pm - Maintains competency in multiple orthopedic sub-specialty areas
- Assists groups, within the clinics, as needed
- Prepares medicines according to physician request
- Performs dressing changes and staple/suture removal
- Records appropriate clinical notes and maintains patients records
- Schedule and pre-certify patient surgeries and procedures
- Effectively communicate with patients

Associates or better in Nursing.
Bachelors or better in Nursing.
