We’re seeking the right candidate for the position of LPN/RN Weekend Treatment (wound care) Nurse at Lakeland Community Care Center
. In this vital role, you’ll ensure that our residents receive the highest level of care while collaborating with a dedicated team, providing exceptional clinical leadership and support.
8 hour shift - Sat & Sun

Qualifications:
- Ability to lead and manage people.
- Ability to organize and plan time to ensure each resident’s treatments are completed timely and accurately.
- Ability to maintain effective interpersonal relationships.
- Ability to demonstrate good emotional, mental and physical health, having sound judgment and high professional standards.
- Ability and willingness to provide emergency assistance to residents as indicated.
- Courtesy in working with residents, families and employees.
- Ability to maintain a neat, well-groomed and professional appearance at all times.
- Willingness to be in the facility ready to begin assigned duties on time.
- Willingness to be in the facility weekends.
- Willingness to work as a Licensed Staff assigned to a unit in an emergency.
- Ability to evaluate the geriatric resident’s needs and provide intervention timely to ensure each resident’s needs are met.
- Ability to evaluate Nursing Staff needs and provide staff education timely to provide quality care.
- Ability to function as a cooperative team member with each member of the Nursing Department and other departments.
- Ability to follow Comm Care’s policies and procedures.
- Ability to manage and supervise the treatment plans for each resident in the facility as indicated.
- Ability and willingness to provide emergency care as needed for any resident in the facility.
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Currently registered with the State agency for nursing licensure
- Hold a valid nursing license to practice in the state of Mississippi.
- or current Mississippi Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
- Has not been excluded from participating in Medicare and Medicaid programs.
- Maintains eligibility to participate in Medicare and Medicaid programs throughout employment.
- Participate in pre-employment and annual Tuberculosis screening.
