Research/Data Analyst I
State of Mississippi – Hinds County, MS
Annual Salary: $40,000.00 – $46,000.00
About the PositionThis time‑limited position will be responsible for performing research into laws and public policy and presenting findings and recommendations to divisional and executive management. The role reports directly to the Director of Opinions and Policy.
- Perform thorough research on laws and public policy.
- Present findings and recommendations to agency management.
- Track legislation in Mississippi and other states affecting Mississippians.
- Draft policy recommendations, potential legislation, and memoranda on state legal issues.
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
- 0–2 years of experience in research or related field.
- Excellent writing, research, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
