Role OverviewThe Shift Team Leader is instrumental in guiding our store team to success by setting a lively pace on the sales floor and keeping the team motivated and focused. This position involves leading shifts, ensuring consistent execution, and fostering an engaging environment for both customers and team members. You will inspire through action, clarity, and a strong sense of urgency.

- Assist in the onboarding and training process for new employees.

- Prioritize and delegate tasks during shifts to drive operational effectiveness.
- Serve as a reliable source for operational questions.
- Verify the completion of daily routines.
- Quickly escalate any operational risks or issues to management.
- Lead recovery, replenishment, and fixture resets during shifts.
- Maintain high merchandising standards throughout the day.
- Guide team members on visual standards and product placement.
- Support visual transitions and floor setups.
- Lead the sales floor to ensure adequate customer service coverage.
- Promote service excellence and the Party service model.
- Manage escalated customer inquiries with poise and professionalism.
- Adjust staffing and focus based on service needs.
- Drive sales during shifts through a guest‑focused approach.
- Coach team members to seize customer opportunities.
- Support promotions, hot markets, and special events.
- Ability to prioritize, delegate, and perform effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
- Clear and confident communication skills, including coaching and feedback.
- Enthusiastic attitude with a passion for sports and retail.
- Understanding of retail operations, service standards, and visual merchandising.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- 1-2 years of retail experience preferred.
- Availability for 10 to 20 hours per week, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and local sports events.
- Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to bend, reach, and climb ladders.
Pay range is $16.92 - $18.92 per hour.
