Sales and Recruiting Manager

Colonial Life is seeking a contract Assistant Sales Manager to support its voluntary benefits efforts in Jackson, MS. In this onsite role, you will help shape a growing sales presence while recruiting, training, and leading new representatives to serve businesses throughout the community.

You will combine hands-on selling with team development, working with both direct business opportunities and insurance brokers to expand new accounts and strengthen existing relationships. The position is designed for leaders who want to coach others, build capability, and earn recognition tied to performance.

• Develop a sales team and strengthen the company’s market presence.
• Grow business by supporting your sales team as they pursue opportunities to open new accounts and provide ongoing support for existing ones.
• Build additional sales teams by recruiting and training new representatives.
• Sell direct and also through insurance brokers to businesses of all sizes in their communities.
• Help hire, mentor, and empower others to succeed.

• Previous sales and management experience, with voluntary benefits management experience preferred.
• A desire to lead and motivate a team.
• Insurance licensing preferred, but not required for application. If selected, Colonial Life will share the steps needed to become licensed and appointed with the company.

• Salary: USD 70,000 - 90,000 per year
