** How This Role Works:*

** Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"):
** You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

** Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program:
** In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

** Responsibilities:*
* + Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, identification checks, and other security-related policies at a financial institution location.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help control access, confirm authorized entry, and report unusual activity, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using appropriate emergency response activities and notifying site contacts and/or public authorities when needed.

+ Maintain accurate visitor, employee, and/or vendor access records, issue credentials when required, and communicate clearly with site personnel regarding entry requirements and security-related concerns.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help identify unauthorized access, unsecured doors, and/or other conditions that may require attention.

* Minimum Requirements:

*
* + Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.

+ Possess an armed guard card and/or license.

+ Be comfortable using a computer and/or tablet, preferred.

+ Be able to lift more than 20 lbs, preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
