ResponsibilitiesAs a Water Utility Worker
, you’ll join a collaborative team ensuring that our clients can deliver their services – uninterrupted. Based in Jackson, MS you’ll have the opportunity to perform a variety of tasks in the servicing and corrective maintenance of water systems, including maintenance of vehicles, tools and equipment. You’ll operate and maintain vehicles, equipment and tools to load and haul product, dig and refill trenches, maintain grounds and buildings, and carry or hold materials, supplies and tools to assist other maintenance personnel.
You’ll also maintain accurate records and perform other duties as required. Most importantly, you’ll take action to ensure the safety, health and well‑being of you and your team.
- A valid driver’s license with no major infractions
- Basic knowledge in the operation and maintenance of vehicles, equipment, tools, and machinery used in and around water/wastewater systems, structures and buildings.

The base salary range for this position is $28,100.00 to $36,500.00; though will be paid hourly based on hours worked.
