We are seeking a disciplined experienced craft Ironworker with competencies in Riggings, Fastening, Drilling, and Demolition located in Jackson, AL. Pay rate offered between $21-$34/hour based on experience, and Per Diem available if qualified.
As a Journeyman Ironworker you will contribute to our team by having experience in:
* Mag Drill Use, working from heights without the use of a man basket
* Basic rigging, air chisel use
* Torch cutting
* Rivet Busting
* Rigging
* Bolting
* Mag Drill Operation
* 2 years iron working experience preferred
What you will bring to this role:
* Required tools:
Measuring tape (at least 15ft), speed square, Torpedo level, Bull pin, Crescent spud
* Mini sledgehammer (weight of your preference), Sledgehammer (weight of your preference), Sleever bar, 1 1/4" spud, 1 7/16" spud, 1 5/8" spud
* Experience relating to Movable Bridges or Millwright a plus.
* Must be safety minded.
* Knowledge of OSHA requirements related to marine work, cranes, and rigging.
* Successful candidates must pass a drug screen and physical before beginning work.
