Cable Technician II

Location:

Rayville, LA

$22/hr – $25/hr

Free lodging provided

$350/week per diem for food

Paid drive time to travel into Rayville, LA

• Network equipment experience
• Fiber knowledge
• Fiber troubleshooting
• Layout and install wireway, buss duct, cable tray, switches, receptacles and other devices
• Build closets (mount and install backboards, cross connects, racks, patch panels, fiber optic and hardware)
• Install grounding for racks, equipment and cable as required
• Complete all IDC connections (e.g., terminate 110/66 blocks and patch panels)
• Work inside and outside the data center building
• Pull wire and/or oversee and direct conduit installations and wire pulling
• Operate tools/equipment, normally requiring the use of two hands (e.g., cable cutters, hammer drills, compression tools, jack hammers, etc.)

• Cable, Cabling, Cat6, Rack and stack, Punchdown, Cat5, Cable installation, Structured cabling

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.
